Start numbering orders at any number (or, if a shop already has a number, any number greater than the biggest order number you currently have).
Make a unique prefix for your order number.
Put a unique order number suffix there.
You can prefix or suffix your custom order number with the day, month, or year that it is currently.
Add the hour, minute, and second of the current time as a prefix or suffix to your unique order number.
By appending as many zeroes as necessary to the beginning of the order number, the order number length can be automatically determined.
For accounting purposes, orders with only free products may be taken out of the paid order sequence and assigned a distinct prefix.
